Graham’s Royal Tea
Graham’s Royal Tea is perfectly suited for just what you’d expect: a tea party! Whether your occasion is a full birthday affair or just a party of two, this spot has beautiful decorations and is just down the street from Bothell Landing Park, perfect for some post-tea-party play time. Served with house-made Devonshire cream, Graham’s traditional scone was the surprisingly simple yet delicious highlight of my tea tray, and the Paris tea’s oolong blend, with notes of vanilla, is a new favorite.
Note that this venue has the most rules for decorum, so it’s best for children older than 5 who can stay seated for a while, or highly food-motivated younger children on a weekday morning. Vegetarian and gluten-free options are available. Graham’s also offers a tea-to-go option in the event an afternoon tea picnic is in your future.
Find it: 10035 Main St., Bothell
Hours: Wednesday–Sunday, 10 a.m.–5 p.m. This location hosts a lot of parties, but offers afternoon tea service when an event is not scheduled. Call ahead to make reservations (425-686-7670).
Cost: Pricing ranges from $27 per person for scones with fruit and tea, to $48 per person for a heartier selection of sandwiches, soups and sweets. There is a Little Lord and Lady Tea for children for $25.
