Olive Branch Café and Tea Room

Olive Branch Café and Tea Room is all about the ambiance! The vibe is Victorian Inn, with brocade-upholstered chairs, rich wood paneling and a volunteer pianist tickling the keys of a baby grand piano. Lovers of pink will appreciate the special “Princess” tea room for hosting children’s teas (available for an additional fee upon request); décor includes rose-colored chairs, tulle curtains and shelves of antique dolls. This spot’s freshly baked scones garner consistently rave reviews.

Location: 2501 E. D St., Tacoma, in Freighthouse Square

Hours: Café hours are Thursday–Sunday, 11 a.m.–4 p.m., with tea service available 11:30 a.m.–2:30 p.m. Starting March 1, 2025, the café will have a new menu and open hours of 11 a.m.–3 p.m. for lunch and tea parties, and 4–8 p.m. for dinner.

Cost: $45–$65 per adult, with options for petite or cream teas starting at $22; children’s teas start at $21. Make reservations online, or call to reserve the children’s tea room.
