Cool item this morning: An anonymous donor has just pledged $500,000 to the Seattle Public Libraries - if SPL can raise that amount by the end of the year. So...your tax-deductible donation means a lot right now.
According to SPL: "Use of The Seattle Public Library is at an all-time high. Circulation of books and resources is up 20% in the past two years. At the same time, drastic city budget cuts have left the library facing its most serious financial challenge in recent history."
Let's do what we can so we never go back to that library-closing badness of yesteryear...
