Brave Bumbershoot for These Family-Friendly Acts

Name ring a bell? It might since Jason McCue won this year’s Sound Off!, the battle of the bands hosted at MoPOP for musicians 21 and younger. McCue’s a Seattle University student who plays a mean acoustic guitar. While his heartfelt lyrics might go over the heads of some younger listeners, we can all appreciate his talent (and maybe it’ll even inspire a budding guitarist or two). He plays Friday at 3:15 p.m. on the Monster Energy Stage at Fisher Green.
