Grandma wars: How to keep the peace with the grandfolks

Do your parents or in-laws offer their advice and expertise a tad more than you'd like? Appear without notice? Tell you you're not dressing/feeding/playing with your baby the right way?

Maybe you've wanted to shout, "Butt out!" but don't quite have the nerve.

That's a good thing. Because keeping the peace benefits you and your children. There are positive ways to deal with over-the-top grandparents. I talked about some of these methods today on KING TV's "Parent-to-Parent." Take a look. And while you're at it, keep this in mind: Most grandparents mean well - and most grandkids love and adore their grandfolks. So do your best to make that very important relationship work!
