Affordable and clever design
When I became a parent, IKEA wasn't the first place I thought to find baby and kid stuff. I’d bought many a sofa and picture frame from the Swedish store, but had quickly breezed through the kids’ section at the end of the store. But it wasn’t long after becoming a mom that I realized just how helpful and affordable some IKEA child items would be. In fact, I swear by a whole bunch of them now.
From inexpensive high chairs to a sweet play kitchen, IKEA has a range of options that are must-haves for parents with young kids. They’re built with design and longevity in mind, so you won’t have to worry about wearing them out or things falling apart with the first kid. If you take care of them, some of these items should last you through several kids.
I know the trip to IKEA can be tough, but with a little planning, you can get you through it. If you really can't hack the big store, many of these items are now available on Amazon, though you will pay a little extra for the convenience.
