Molly Moon's Homemade Ice Cream
In what parents will recognize as a genius move, local ice cream favorite Molly Moon's Homemade Ice Cream has opened its latest shop right next to one of our area's most amazing playgrounds.
Yep, perennial Golden Teddy Award winner Molly Moon's has opened its eighth location in Bellevue, right across the street from Bellevue Downtown Park and its worth-the-trip-from-anywhere Inspiration Playground. A thrilling and inclusive playground with an ice cream cone on top? It's a summer outing match made in kid heaven.
The new Molly Moon's is a smaller, walk-up shop but it serves all of Molly's flavors in cones or cups, plus sundaes and pints.
Molly Moon's offers a batch of rotating seasonal flavors alongside its "always flavors" that include staples such as original strawberry and melted chocolate, and unique, sophisticated flavors such as Earl Grey and honey lavender. (They know you adults are going to get a scoop, too.)
Current seasonal flavors for summer 2019 include cherry chunk, vegan cherry chunk and pink lemonade sorbet.
Find Molly Moon's other shop locations in Seattle in Wallingford, Capitol Hill, Madrona, Queen Anne, U Village and Columbia City, and on the Eastside in Redmond.
If you go...Find it: Molly Moon's new Bellevue shop is located at 10045 N.E. First St. in Bellevue. Hours: The shop is open daily, 2–10 p.m. More ice cream: After you've licked your way through all of Molly Moon's "always" and seasonal flavors, put these other local artisan ice cream shops on your route.
