Wreaths of a feather

This silly turkey wreath will make your guests giggle! Older kids who are able to tie tulle and wrap yarn can help with this decoration. Jill, author of the Baby Rabies blog named her turkey Thom with a silent “H.” What will you name yours?

Squish!

If you need to keep little hands busy but keep the house clean at the same time, then this craft is for you! Jill, author of the blog Craft on Sea, recommends that you tape the bag of paint to a glass patio door to let light shine through, but you could tape it to the table as well, so the bag doesn’t get carried around the house. Then kids can squish the paint and color the tree to their heart’s content!

Pilgrim places

These napkin holders, designed by Amanda of the Crafts by Amanda blog, are a reminder of the pilgrims who participated in the first Thanksgiving. These are so cute no one will believe they started out as toilet paper rolls!

A little glam

To compliment your pilgrim napkin holders, make a set of these glittery napkins, another genius project from the Crafts by Amanda blog. These are created on ready-made plain napkins with no sewing involved! The glitter will add glitz to your Thanksgiving table and can be used year after year.

This boat may not float but a Mayflower replica from Art Projects for Kids will make a unique Thanksgiving dinner table centerpiece. Crafted from a recycled coffee sleeve, kids can make one or several or perhaps use the ships as placecards!
