Global Idea School is an independent, non-profit, bilingual (English-Spanish) elementary school. We offer a child-centered and hands-on education through a cross-disciplinary curriculum based on STEM©, (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) and we have integrated and expanded to include Art and Social Studies (STEAMS).

Bilingual Education
We have a Spanish language program that is integrated with the English curriculum, half the day is in English and the other in Spanish. All subjects are taught in both languages. This allows our students to gain two perspectives of the world, develop bi-cultural skills, and foster an appreciation for diversity and differences.

Global Perspective
We teach subjects from a global perspective and encourage cross-disciplinary learning. We do this through projects, thematic inquiries, and problem-solving activities that connect what students learn to real-life situations. We also value what interests our students and encourage them to consider different viewpoints and be open-minded.

Social Emotional Growth
Students have a variety of activities to choose from throughout the day. They can freely explore, express, and appreciate their feelings, beliefs, interests, and ideas in a safe and supportive environment. We value diversity and create an inclusive atmosphere. This encourages students to take risks at their own pace, learn from both their mistakes and successes, and feel proud of their efforts and achievements.

Hands-on Learning & Rigorous Academics
Students learn through hands-on activities like Montessori Math and STEAM education. They explore, research, read and write individually and in groups. We also invite guest speakers who teach students about various topics. Students gain knowledge and develop important skills like curiosity, initiative, awareness, and critical and creative thinking.

Computer Science, Art, Music and Sports
Students get to learn coding, programming, robotics from tech industry professionals. They also have specialized teachers for music and art, who organize exhibits, shows, and performances. Additionally, we have a fully equipped gym for sport activities.

Afterschool Care
Monday - Friday 3:00pm - 6:00pm
