North Seattle Fives is a “fives program." We have one classroom of about 20 children, all of whom are 4 - 5 year olds and are in their prekindergarten year. We meet on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 9:30-1:30 in Phinney Ridge, across the street from the zoo. NS5s provides a highly nurturing learning environment in which children develop academic, social and emotional readiness for kindergarten through a play-based curriculum. Our teacher, Jen Quisenberry, has over 15 years of kindergarten and pre-k experience with a passion for early literacy. This class is a co-op, so parents work one day in the classroom and drops off for three; you and your child make friends and build community together.
