Families are invited to explore plants and animals as they walk in a beautiful Pacific Northwest forest in the Mountains to Sound Greenway! Greenway educators will lead the hike and tailor activities to the group. Come for an exciting adventure exploring native plants, water quality, wildlife, healthy forests, and soil. Tiger Mountain has some great trails that make a wonderful classroom for kids of all ages. The hike will be no longer than 1.5 miles. This event is part of the Pacific Science Center Seattle Science Festival 2013. Contact Sally Kentch, Greenway Education Program Manger, for registration and details. Note: A Discover Pass is required for parking at Tiger Mountain State Forest.
