Restoration Projects - Volunteer at sites across the city
Volunteer to help with habitat restoration projects ranging from removing weeds and invasive plants to planting native trees and shrubs.

Work at one of your favorite parks or check out one you have never explored before!

Browns Point Playfield - 4915 La Hal Da Lane N.E.
Franklin Park - 1201 S. Puget Sound Ave.
Dedicated habitat stewards have created a small oasis in the middle of this large grass dominated park. After years of compaction the soil is starting to live again. Come help continue these efforts.
Gog-le-hi-te Wetlands - 1402 Lincoln Ave.
McKinley Park - 907 Upper Park St.
This is a beautiful setting and a haven for birds. Come help long time habitat stewards continue to create unique spaces and restore the health of this park.
Oak Tree Park - S. 74th & Cedar St.
Work continues to restore this magnificent park to healthy Garry Oak habitat. Come here to participate in some unique habitat restoration.
Ryan's Park - 429 S. 80th St.
Serious progress over the last few years made by dedicated habitat stewards has the conifers growing tall and understory filling in. Come volunteer and ensure the progress continues.
Titlow Park - 8425 6th Ave.
Metro Parks will also be planting a few large trees here. Come help as new habitat stewards take on the challenges and excitement of restoration.
Wapato Hills Park - 6231 S. Wapato St.
Previously covered in Scots broom, now after years of dedicated hard work the Scots broom is beaten back. Come help ensure we never have a sea of yellow again.
Wapato Lake - 6500 S. Sheridan Ave.
Known for its mix of uses and formal entrance, this park has many habitat areas mixed throughout. Come help this key destination park stay healthy and diverse for people and wildlife.
