Saturdays, (Jan. 4–Feb. 22 at 1 & 2:45 p.m.): "Comets, Asteroids, and Meteors, Oh My!" A Children's Planetarium Show
Come learn about small celestial objects and join us on an urgent mission to collect some scientific samples and save the Earth!
Saturdays, (March 1–Apr. 26 at 1 & 2:45 p.m.): Planetary Explorers, A Children's Planetarium Show
Explorers will start on watery Earth and embark on an adventure taking them to all 8 planets in our solar system. From bouncing on Mercury to hula-hooping with Saturn, they are certain to have a great journey!
Children's shows are a live, interactive show designed for our youngest visitors. The ideal age range for this show is 3–10 years old. The runtime is approximately 45 minutes. Every child must be accompanied by a ticket-holding adult.
Public Shows
We are open on Friday and Saturday for public shows.
- Tickets can be purchased in advance or at the door. We accept both cash and card at the door.
- Masks are encouraged while on campus.
Cost is $8 for general admission; Pierce College students are free with Pierce College Student ID. Tickets must be purchased in advance.
All ages planetarium shows are suitable for anyone who can sit for about one hour. It does get very dark in the Science Dome, please consider this before bringing small children.
