Town Hall presents the sights and sounds of one of England's most well-loved eras, reinvigorated lately by shows like "Wolf Hall" and "The Tudors". March 9th, join historian Ruth Goodman (How to Be a Victorian) in conversation with local historical fiction author Jennie Spohr (Heirs & Spares) as they bring new life to the 16th-century and share anecdotes about the daily life and commonplace activities (from homemade ale and bear-baiting, to cross-dressing) that make the period so fascinating. Goodman, who was a consultant for BBC’s “Wolf Hall" and star of a number of BBC television series including Tudor Monastery Farm and War Time Farm and Spohr will also be joined by members of Seattle's Early Music Guild for an evening of sights and sounds you won't want to miss!
