For San Francisco writer Nathanael Johnson (All Natural), taking his daughter on walks around the city illuminated the previously overlooked wonders that surrounded him in the urban jungle. In a presentation rich in imagery and humor, he’ll share what he’s learned while teaching his toddler about the creatures inhabiting our cities—the turkey vultures, ants, and snails—and explain why he believes the walk to work each day can be just as entrancing as a walk through the forest.
