The Destination Des Moines Waterland Parade, proudly sanctioned by Seafair, is one of our community's most cherished traditions - and it's back to dazzle once again! Each year, hundreds of spectators gather to experience the vibrant spectacle featuring colorful floats, high-energy marching bands, the legendary Seafair Pirates, whimsical clowns, sparkling boats, and so much more.
The festivities begin with the adorable Children's parade at 5:45pm, followed by the show-stopping Grande Parade as it winds through the heart of Des Moines - from 7th Ave S & S 227th to Des Moines City Hall on 11th Ave S, lighting up Marine View Drive S with excitement, joy, and community spirit.
