Be creative! Have fun at this annual celebration hosted by Cama Beach Foundation. This isn’t your typical sand castle contest. There’s no sand and no contest, just a chance for folks of all ages to be creative using non-living objects found on the beach (shells, rocks, driftwood) to draw or sculpt a temporary work of art. To participate, sign up at the registration booth starting at noon. You can work as an individual or as a team of up to four individuals.
This year there'll be FREE face painting from about 12:30 PM until 3:30 PM.
At 3 PM we'll begin the prize drawing. Each individual or team is eligible for a door prize. All participants will receive a coupon for a free ice cream! Low tide will be at 2:45 PM and sometime after 3 PM the incoming tide will be high enough to begin "modifying" the artwork ... that's really fun to watch.
