The Seattle Public Library will host "Legendary Children," a free evening of representation, dance, empowerment, art and social justice that is transformed by the voices of queer and transgender people of color from 8 p.m. to 11 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 5 at the Seattle Art Museum (SAM), 1300 1st Ave.

Library programs are free and open to the public. Registration is requested, but not required.

Attendees can enjoy performances, DJs and art by some of Seattle’s most talented queer artists. Everyone is invited to join in the conversations sparked by the SAM exhibition "Yves Saint Laurent: The Perfection of Style," which will be open and free during this event. Performances by local artists will include Youth Speaks, Adé, The Purple Lemonade, A Collective, Jade, Briq House, Namii, DJ Riz Rollins, DJ SassyBlack and DJ Reverend Dollars.
