The Macy’s Holiday Star celebrates its diamond anniversary! The famous 161-foot high, 3,600-bulb Holiday Star has shined brightly throughout Seattle’s downtown for 60 years. The Macy’s Star lighting happens in conjunction with the annual lighting of Westlake Center’s tree and The Downtown Seattle Association’s Carousel at Westlake Park beginning at 5:00 p.m. and will include a fireworks display (weather permitting).
