"What Would Jesus Buy?" takes a satirical and entertaining look at the excessive commercialization of Christmas, and American life in general. We follow the hilarious, zany and energetic Reverend Billy (performance artist Bill Talen), and the the singing, dancing Gospel Choir of the Church of Stop Shopping on a December cross-country mission to save Christmas from... the SHOPOCALYPSE! The epic road trip takes us to chilling exorcisms at Wal-Mart headquarters, to retail interventions at the Mall of America and all the way to the Promised Land on Christmas Day. Although we may be hypnotized and consumerized we still have a chance to save ourselves this Christmas!
