The Seattle International Dance Festival presents Khambatta Dance Company with international guests, celebrating the winter holiday season with two productions of Constellation.
Offering a global perspective on dance, audiences will travel the world with winter-themed contemporary works inspired by Korean folktales, the earths rotation amongst celestial bodies, and humans impact on one another.
A concert featuring different programs each night, artists will include Sergei Burlap Modern Line Dance Theater Company (Russia) along with Khambatta Dance Company presenting two distinctive Asian-American viewpoints with new work by choreographers Cyrus Khambatta and Ethan Rome, commissioned by Case Van Rij.
