Join masterful storytellers at the 10th Annual Storytelling Festival on January 28th at 12:30pm at the Vashon Theater, 17723 Vashon Hwy SW, Vashon, WA 98070.
This is Vashon Wilderness Program’s biggest community celebration of the year, drawing hundreds of people from Vashon and beyond to share in the ancient and powerful practice of the oral storytelling tradition.
This year, in celebration of their 10 year anniversary, Vashon Wilderness Program will offer this event for FREE to all ages.
You can expect magical, whimsical, and bizarre stories by local tellers, as well as audience participation, including a 1-minute Story-thon, story improv games, and more. Don’t miss this wonderful, family-friendly event!
This event typically sells out, and guests are encouraged to arrive early at 12:30pm to purchase snacks from the concession stand, sign up for the 1-Minute Story-Thon, and settle in with family and friends. Tales will begin by 1pm.
