The Karshner Museum and Center for Culture & Arts in Puyallup presents a free community event, “Stories of Our Lives” taking place January 21, 2017 from noon to 5 pm.
The free community event will include:
Acclaimed Story tellers: Native American Roger Fernandes, African American Eva Abrams
Book-It Theatre performing a children’s theatre piece based on the award winning book – “Goin’ Someplace Special”
Humanities Washington speaker, Anu Taranath presents a program entitled, “Not Just for Kids: How Children’s Literature Inspires Bold Conversations: How kids—and adults—can use children’s books from around the globe to navigate our complicated world
Crafts of fun books, masks and pop ups
Special guests will read favorite children’s books aloud
