This week celebrate Black History Month by crafting your own airplane to honor pilot Bessie Coleman (1892-1926). Coleman was the first African American woman and Native American to hold a pilot's license. Coleman is in the National Women's Hall of Fame and the National Aviation Hall of Fame.
