Art+Flight officially kicks off with a day full of art-themed activities, demonstrations, talks and more. Enjoy live music throughout the galleries, seed paper making workshops, fun family activities like chalk painting and our classic Weekend Family Workshops.
Family Activities
The Weekend Family Workshops at 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. will teach families how to make simple sun prints (cyanotypes) using photo-sensitive paper.
Chalk Drawing in the Aviation Pavilion: Local chalk artist Kami Huynh will help families create chalk art on the floor of the outdoor Aviation Pavilion.
