During his residency, Moscou-Jackson researched the history of photography with the help of our Librarians. He learned the history of the camera using multiple historical formats including Polaroid 35 mm, as well as shooting and manually processing film.
The works in "Central Interface" feature images collected by community members as well motifs that emerged from Moscou-Jackson’s time researching in the Central Library’s Seattle Room and Map Room. "Central Interface" presents its viewers with imagery that evokes memories and visions of Seattle, the Pacific Northwest, and beyond.
