Come join us to celebrate the joy of storytelling with Sondra Segundo and the Raven Clan Singers and Dancers!
Storyteller Sondra Segundo will read her new book “Kúndlaan - The Wolf Pup with Moonlight in Her Eyes” and the Raven Clan Singers and Dancers visualize and enrich the story. Sondra is a multi-faceted Haida Language Warrior/Preserver and is the author and illustrator of “Killer Whale Eyes” and “Lovebirds – the True Story of Raven and Eagle”. Presenters will engage with children and their families and share the skills and values of Native oral storytelling that are essential to bring the families and communities together and also share their history, culture and important skills for life.
This will be an in-person event at the Powwow Field. Doors will open at 4:30pm and dinner will be provided at that time. Sondra's program starts at 6pm.
