Join Farmer Frog and Friends to celebrate bears, cougars and other wildlife and learn how to safely live and recreate around them.
Farmer Frog is hosting Western Wildlife Outreach, Defenders of Wildlife, the WA Dept of Fish & Wildlife Karelian Bear Dog Program and other wildlife educators to raise awareness about working dogs, good fences and their role in helping humans coexist with wildlife such as black bears, cougars, and coyotes. Festival proceeds will benefit WDFW's Karelian Bear Dog Program and Farmer Frog’s Livestock Guardian Dog teams.

- 11:00 & 2:00 Meet the Karelian Bear Dogs and learn how they help wildlife managers with bears, cougars and other critters in the foothills of the North Cascades.
- 12:00 & 3:00 Learn Bear/Cougar Safety tips and hear about what's going on with Grizzly Bear Recovery in the North Cascades.
- 1:00 & 4:00 Good Fences + Good Dogs = Wildlife Friendly Farming. Meet Farmer Frog Livestock Guardian Dogs and learn about good fence design and resources available to help farmers and livestock producers build them.
The event is FREE with a suggested donation of $20 PER CAR LOAD.
