In her book, The Copper Phoenix, Lynn shares her story of abuse as well as her redemption for a better life. She has fought bravely all her life to end the cycle of dysfunction that plagued her family from one generation to the next. Against all odds, Lynn found the courage to heal and rebuild. Like a phoenix, she rose above the hatred and pain to blaze a trail for herself. Lynn broke all ceilings and defied all conventions to become a loving mother to her two sons, a devoted wife to her hard-working husband, and a highly sought-after corporate governance and securities professional in the technology space. In January 2021, Lynn was diagnosed with stage four colon cancer. It became the biggest fight of her life and on April 30, 2023, Lynn went home to her final resting place.
