Join us virtually to learn about the Charles Wright Academy Upper School experience for students in Grades 9-12.
Founded in 1957, CWA is a coeducational independent day school in Tacoma where students discover their passions through a breadth of opportunities both inside and outside the classroom.
The Upper School’s four-year course of study challenges and supports students as they prepare for college and for life. Designed to inspire serious scholars capable of effective communication, sustained work, independent thought, and original expression—while connecting with others in a supportive community—the program recognizes and develops individual strengths while building competence across academic and extracurricular pursuits. Arts and athletics are an important part of the curriculum, and we encourage both broad participation, excellence and joy.
While our 107-acre campus is temporarily closed, all of our students are actively engaged in a robust remote learning program. We look forward to meeting you virtually to show you all that our school community has to offer.
