CitySoil Farm Work Party – Let’s Get Those Blackberries!

Calendar/Event Details

CitySoil Farm is hosting a work party event to help clear the land of invasives so everything else can thrive. If you’ve never been out to CitySoil, this is a good opportunity to visit the lovely farm. Flowers are in bloom, crops are growing ready for harvest, every corner there is something new to see at CitySoil!

CitySoil is a four-way partnership between King County, King Conservation District, Tilth Alliance, and DIRT Corps. CitySoil Farm is a 1.5 acre demonstration farm located at the King County Wastewater Treatment Plant in Renton. As an industrial site in an urban area, City Soil Farm was once an unused area of the treatment plant’s grounds. It has been transformed into a teaching farm and native tree nursery that showcases sustainable farming and accessible, local food.
