AMcE is honored to again be working with Mary’s Place for a community ornament making, holiday card and supply drive.
For this year’s event, we are very pleased to welcome two new partners to our supply collection efforts - Windermere Capitol Hill and the Field Trip Society. We want to ensure that we bring in a good haul of items essential to the wellbeing of Mary’s Place guest, so please join us. Team spirit!
A wish list is on Mary’s Place website here. We will be collecting supplies at the gallery Thursday - Sunday, 11a - 6p through 12/10.
AMcE’s Open House will be hosted during the Capitol Hill Art Walk and is open to anyone who would like to help spread cheer this Holiday season. Please bring your creativity and supplies for friends at Mary’s Place. This is the second year AMcE has hosted the ornament making get together and we look forward to adding your ornaments to the Women’s Day Center tree!
About: Mary’s Place provides safe, inclusive shelter and services that support women, children and families on their journey out of homelessness. Guests will make and decorate ornaments for the Mary’s Place Women’s Day Center and are invited to write holiday cards for distribution to their guests.
