Members of Northwest Sinfonietta and Kareem Kandi World Orchestra team up for a program of original works by Kareem Kandi, influenced by jazz, hip hop, Latin, and Middle Eastern music, and arranged for this unique fusion ensemble. Performed in the Hot Shop with live glassblowing by Hilltop Artists students, this is a multi-sensory experience not to be missed. Fun for all ages, and FREE with support from Tacoma Creates!
This performance is part of Museum of Glass free-admission Third Thursday programming. Seats in the Hot Shop are first come, first served, so please plan on arriving promptly!
The Museum will be hosting a special member lounge from 5:30–8pm, featuring snacks and drinks.
