We are keeping Seward Park's forest healthy! We will be removing invasive plant species and covering the work area with burlap and mulch in preparation for fall planting. Get ready to move a mountain of mulch and place it in just the right spots!
Please remember to dress for the weather! Boots are great, but any closed toe shoes will work as long as you're OK with getting them dirty. We'll provide the tools and the work gloves. Bring your water bottle! We'll provide a few light snacks and coffee.
We will meet at the Audubon Center and walk up to the restoration site together. The best place to park would be in the lower lot near Andrew's Bay swimming beach or in the parking lot adjacent to the playground. Register online at Brown Paper Tickets.com.
