Join us at BAM for a papermaking workshop and craft your own unique paper. Learn how to recycle paper scraps into pulp and make handmade paper. We'll also teach you easy DIY methods for making moulds and deckles so you can keep creating at home!
This workshop has been developed alongside the Washi Transformed: New Expressions in Japanese Paper exhibition, featuring 9 contemporary artists who have pushed washi beyond its traditional uses to create highly textured two-dimensional works, expressive sculptures, and dramatic installations.
