Become a kid again, support conservation and save money by visiting Woodland Park Zoo during its Kid at Heart days and enjoy a free ride on the zoo’s Historic Carousel on select days. During Kid at Heart days all guests can explore the wonder of wild animals and wild places throughout the zoo’s 92-acre urban oasis all for a ticket sold at child admission pricing!
In honor of the life of Tom Allen, who donated the Historic Carousel to Woodland Park Zoo in the year 2000 with his wife Linda, all zoo guests are invited to ride the carousel for free on Sunday, October 6 and Monday, October 7. Over the course of his life, Tom gave back generously to provide ways for everyone who wishes to experience the joy of the carousel and the zoo.

All tickets (up to 5,000 per day) sold on the designated Kid at Heart dates will be sold at child admission pricing. Pricing will reflect the child ticket price on the date selected and may fluctuate based on flexible pricing. Once 5,000 tickets are sold, prices will revert to regular admission prices for adults.
