Free Doughnuts On Pike Place Market’s 115th Birthday

Calendar/Event Details

What better way to celebrate Pike Place Market’s 115th birthday than by shopping, eating, and relaxing at the Market!

On August 17, 1907, a handful of farmers set up along Pike Place after it was established as a public farmers market. By lunchtime, eager shoppers had purchased everything.

Today, Pike Place Market is one of the oldest and largest continuously operating public markets in the United States. It is brought to life by the hundreds of farmers, crafters, small businesses, and residents that call it “home.”

We invite you to shop, eat and explore all of Pike Place Market on Wednesday, August 17, and throughout the month as we celebrate our 115th birthday.

*** DOUGHNUTS FOR THE FIRST 115 PEOPLE ***

If you're near Pike Place Market Wednesday morning, listen up!

To celebrate our 115th birthday, we're giving away donuts from Daily Dozen Doughnut Company and hot beverages from several Market businesses to the first 115 people.

The celebration begins at 9 a.m. Find our tent under the Public Market Center Clock & Sign
