French American School of Puget Sound Lower School Open House

Calendar/Event Details

Visit the French American School of Puget Sound (FASPS) on Mercer Island to learn all about our unique bilingual curriculum for Young Pre-Kindergarten (age 2.5) through Eighth Grade.

Accredited by the French Ministry of Education, FASPS is the oldest French bilingual school in the Puget Sound region. FASPS students are challenged by a harmonized curriculum with an emphasis on science, technology, engineering, math, and the arts. Students learn in and beyond the classroom, with local, domestic, and international field trips and learning experiences. Small class sizes ensure students receive individualized, differentiated attention from teachers. FASPS has five bus routes and offers Extended Day programs until 6:00 PM, ideal for working parents.

FASPS families come from 55 countries and speak over 60 languages. FASPS celebrates community, diversity, and international mobility. The French American School of Puget Sound admits students without regard to race, religion, color, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, national or ethnic origin. Tuition assistance is available for qualifying families.

There is no French language prerequisite for students entering Young Pre-Kindergarten, Pre-Kindergarten, or Kindergarten. Students entering grades 1-8 must speak French.
