Update: This event has sold out. Rats!
Join our naturalist on a woodland adventure to look for signs of spring just around the corner! Late February and early March are when our native species of frogs and toads become active again after sleeping away the winter months. Together, we'll visit frog and toad habitat and peer into the water to see if we can see their eggs. We'll imitate frogs and toads and learn their different vocalizations and locomotion. When we get to a cozy Treehouse, we'll hear a classic story from Frog and Toad All Year by Arnold Lobel and hear how our friends Frog and Toad find spring too. Of course we'll provide the cookies - and Frog and Toad may also make an appearance!
