Hiking and Tacos at Nolte State Park

Calendar/Event Details

Join Rachel Heaton and The Earth Gym community for a fun-filled day of hiking and tacos at Nolte State Park! Your ticket includes a hike, light workout, lunch, and education.

We will start with some exercises using The Earth Gym fundamentals. I’ll share ideas of ways we can move our bodies using nature, no equipment needed. We will also discuss being intentional about our time outdoors and ways to ground ourselves throughout all of the seasons.

After our opening we will walk around the lake both clockwise and counter clockwise and stop along the way to talk about some of the amazing traditional plants that are used by our local tribes.

  • Difficulty: The hike will be 2.5 miles with a 55 ft elevation gain. You will be on your feet for 3 hours.
  • Conditions: We will meet rain or shine.
  • Lunch: Chicken tacos with pico de gallo by Gil's Tacos (Sorry, but we cannot make any dietary accomodations at this event)
  • Ages: 8+
  • Refunds will only be given if we cancel the event.
