Homeschoolers are invited to PAWS to learn about the world of wildlife. Through hands-on activities and active discussions explore the difference between a wild animal and a “pet” animal and what to do if you find an animal in need of help.
Visit our wildlife hospital lobby where you will see what some of our current patients are up to on our live cameras. Then find out how wildlife rehabilitators care for these animals and what you can do to help.
This event is created for small homeschool groups and families. Larger homeschool groups can participate in this same program through a private scheduling. Please contact us for availability.
NOTE: This is not a drop-off event, so adults must stay and attend the program. Please respect a minimum adult to child ratio of 1:5.
