Celebrate winter with days of frozen fun from January 17–20! Dive into a world of chilly excitement and Arctic wonders. Explore Arctic animals and cultures, investigate icebergs and rescue frozen friends, race ice cube skiers, step into the land of the Midnight Sun, see exciting Dr. Science experiments, go ice fishing and so much more!

  • Explore Arctic Animals and Cultures – uncover the wonders of Arctic wildlife and the fascinating cultures of the Arctic Circle countries: Alaska, Canada, Russia, Sweden, Finland, Norway, and Iceland.
  • Investigate Icebergs & Rescue Frozen Friends – become a scientist and hero as you examine icy landscapes and free frozen friends trapped in the ice.
  • Race Ice Cube Skiers – get competitive as you send ice cube skiers speeding down ramps in this frosty race!
  • Skate in Your Socks – Glide across our indoor “rink” – no skates required!
  • Step Into the Land of the Midnight Sun – experience the magic of the Northern Lights and Arctic shadows in our immersive light and shadow room.
  • Go Ice Fishing – search beneath the frozen surface for fishy friends in this fun and interactive game.
  • Learn to Snowshoe with the Olympia Mountaineers – step into snowshoes and learn this Arctic skill with expert guidance (Jan. 18-19, 11 AM – 3 PM).
  • Snip Up a Snowstorm – create your own winter wonderland with dazzling snowflake crafts.
  • See Dr. Science in Action! – watch as Dr. Science lights ice on fire and deep-freezes objects with liquid nitrogen (Jan. 18-19).
  • Silkscreen a Print – print a special keepsake (make a free poster or purchase and make a tote bag, apron, onesie, or t-shirt for $15 on Jan. 18-19).
  • Take a Picture at the Photo Booth –  capture the memories of your visit with a fun and festive photo booth session! (Jan. 18-19).
