Multidisciplinary artist Jessica Byrd Ghyvoronsky is the creative force behind the reflection space that accompanies the Discovery Center’s newest exhibition, Where Do We Go from Here? Stories from a Transforming World. The reflection space is a separate area from the main exhibition, featuring five trees with white fabric ribbon where museum visitors have shared their pandemic experiences and memories. One thousand origami lilies hang from the ceiling.
Stop by the Discovery Center at 1 p.m. on the second Saturday of the month to meet Jessica and participate in a conversation about her interactive art installation. Confirmed dates for this fall are Oct. 8, Nov. 12 and Dec. 10, along with a special bonus session on Nov. 26.
