Come together for a free, family-friendly event to celebrate the cultural diversity of our community in Issaquah. Festivities include music, world dances, interactive art, Henna art, resource booths, food trucks and more! The event will be held at the Issaquah Community Center on the outside lawn. Invite your neighbors, family and friends to join us in celebration at the Issaquah Culture Fest!

There will be live performances on stage by local and talented artists including:

  • Seattle Shaolin Kungfu Academy — a vibrant dragon dance and authentic traditional Shaolin Kung Fu
  • Ojasvi Art — a colorful interactive Indian dance Bali performance
  • Mariachi Real de Seattle — a lively band playing traditional Mexican folk music
  • Xianghe-He Dance — poetic Chinese dance theater
  • Gasango — traditional and contemporary dance and music from West Africa
  • Enders Entertainment joins us again this year as our DJ

And more!

In between performances walk around the robust resource fair with more than 30 different local vendors including Issaquah businesses and non-profit organizations. Learn more about fun things to do in Issaquah, free services and ways to get involved in our community!

Enjoy delicious food for purchase from these food trucks:

  • Mobile Mayan, serving authentic Mexican food
  • Momo’s Kebab, serving Mediterranean food
  • Issaquah Ice Cream Trike, serving a variety of refreshing ice cream and popsicles
  • Brazilian Bakery Food Cart, serving sweet and savory baked goods

Other highlights of the event include:

  • Free henna for all ages
  • Music petting zoo for children to try a variety of musical instruments from various cultures
  • Live animals from the Cougar Mountain Zoo
  • Take home your own masterpiece with Madhubani art, a bright geometric style that originated in India and Nepal.

This event is hosted by the City of Issaquah in sponsorship with Downtown Issaquah Association, Friends of the Issaquah Library, the Issaquah Highlands Council, and the King County Library System Issaquah Library.
