Jazz4Kids Louis Armstrong: A New Orleans State of Mind

Concert starts at 4 PM | Lobby opens at 3 PM for interactive instrument petting zoo
This concert will include pieces selected from the same-day main stage program of Louis Armstrong: A New Orleans State of Mind. SRJO Jazz4Kids concerts include instrument demonstrations, and questions from the audience for artistic directors Clarence Acox and Michael Brockman. Kennelly Keys Music will provide an interactive instrument petting zoo before the concert in the lobby starting at 3 PM.
SRJO Jazz4Kids concerts are special events that provide children and youth a rare opportunity to hear jazz performed live in an excellent concert hall. The Nordstrom Recital Hall and Kirkland Performance Center provide an intimate performance space where audience members can enjoy a very close interaction with the performers.
This event is free to attend but a ticket must be acquired in advance online or over the phone from SRJO. Jazz4Kids concerts traditionally sell out, so it is highly recommended that everyone interested in attending the concert obtain tickets in advance to ensure seating.
