The Lakewood Farmers Market kicks off June 6 and runs every Tuesday from 2-7 p.m. at Fort Steilacoom Park. This family-friendly market has more than 70 vendors featuring everything from fresh fruits and produce, to handcrafted one-of-a-kind gifts and specialty beverages. There are 21 food trucks and booths. The market is located inside the 340+-acre Fort Steilacoom Park that has paved walking trails, an off-leash dog park, open fields and a giant playground for the kids. Bring the whole family, shop the market, walk the park, let the kids play and grab a picnic meal in the park from one of the food vendors.
