Visitors of all ages are welcome to join us for this free, drop-in activity to explore Kelsey Creek Farm’s log cabin, which was built in 1888. We will have antique logging and farming implements from the 1880s on display, including a variety of axes, farm implements, and other tools. Children can participate in a variety of free pioneer activities, including grinding wheat, churning butter, and playing with bread dough. You can watch a wool spinning demonstration and try your hand at carding wool.
Adults can take a deeper dive into the history of logging and farming on the Eastside with our farm’s passionate historian.
Registration is not required.
