Our Mary's Place Girl Scout troop is excited to be selling cookies again this year! We'll be selling #girlscoutcookies drive-thru style at our Burien Family Center shelter and at Molly Moon's Homemade Ice Cream!
Their goal is to sell 2,000 boxes of cookies, with proceeds going towards a camping trip being planned by the troop members. Selling cookies and participating in the Girl Scouts is an exciting opportunity for girls and young women experiencing homelessness to set and achieve goals, learn leadership skills, and build meaningful relationships that can be continued once they move into housing.
