This is a youth program for ages 13-18.
Join a Seattle Parks and Recreation Environmental Education Naturalist for a walk through Carkeek Park to explore unique PNW forest environments and the native plants that call the forest home! We will explore Carkeek's ecosystems to discover the kinds of native plants, how they interact with their environment, the edible and medicinal properties that these plants possess.
All participants should wear good walking shoes and be prepared to walk up to 2 miles.
All participants must be registered.
