Join Ben Jaffe of Marrowstone Mushrooms to make your own straw-based, oyster mushrooms grow kit! This is a hands-on activity where you will learn about mushroom cultivation, the production of spawn and substrate, and make your own grow kit so that you can watch the incubation and fruiting process at home. You'll also learn about mushroom gardening, principals of mushroom identification, and pretty much all things mushroom.
Open to all ages!
Benjamin Jaffe is the owner of Marrowstone Mushrooms - located in the heart of Capital Hill, Seattle. They supply the local community with a variety of fresh mushrooms for sale, as well as mushroom tinctures, extracts, spawn, and even mushroom grow kits.
